Want to be our Visiting Investment Analyst?

We are looking for students to join our team as part-time Visiting Investment Analysts during 2022 and 2023. If you are eager to experience what it’s like working as an investment analyst in a private equity firm focused on fast growing Business-to-Business (B2B) Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) companies in the Nordics, we strongly believe we could be a match. 

You will work part-time each week from October 2022 to May 2023 (digitally or physically depending on your study location) and full-time physically in Trondheim June and August 2023.

📣 About Viking Venture

We are The Nordic Software Investor, investing in fast growing Business-to-Business Software-as-a-Service companies in the Nordics. Our portfolio consists of 15 software companies with international presence and we are always looking for new, exciting SaaS companies to invest in.

Our ambition is to further accelerate the growth of Viking Venture's portfolio. To do this we need Visiting Investment Analysts to help us uncover new companies to invest in and develop our existing portfolio companies.

✔️ As a Visiting Investment Analyst, you will:

  • be a part of Viking Ventures’ team
  • research and evaluate potential investment opportunities
  • conduct analysis on potential acquisitions
  • work with our portfolio companies on strategically important projects to support their growth journey

🏆 Your top skills and qualifications:

We are looking for students who:

  • are on their 2nd or 3rd year of a relevant BSc or MSc program (e.g. economics, finance, engineering) with strong academic results
  • approach problem solving in a structured and data-driven manner 
  • conduct sound quantitative and qualitative analyses – and draw out insights
  • communicate clearly both in verbal and written form in a Nordic language and English
  • work as a team player and are open to others' views
  • are curious and eager to learn
  • work well in Excel, PowerPoint and other similar tools
